Dear Members of the East End Counselors Association,
At this time, our treasury is solvent enough to offer some financial assistance to students in need. There is a limit of $500 per student and a cap of $5,000 per year in total assistance for the program.
Students in need, according to the professional discretion of their school counselor, can receive assistance from EECA for educational, career or vocational opportunities that they cannot participate in because of their financial needs. We are looking to assist students with application fees, educational field trip fees, supplies for vocational training, or entrance fees related to the students’ current area of study. While this list may not be all-inclusive, we are focused on assisting students to enhance their success with opportunities related to academic improvement, success and achievement.
In order to apply for assistance, members of EECA should complete the form at the bottom of this page and e-mail the completed form to the EECA President at email@example.com
The request will be reviewed by the Executive Board in a timely manner and a response, including the requested amount of money, will be forwarded as soon as possible. The EECA will not be writing personal checks to students but rather to the educational institution sponsoring the event.
EECA will evaluate our ability to offer this financial assistance on a yearly basis. It is not guaranteed each year. Thank you for all that you do for children.
Mark Palios, President East End Counselors Association
