Liberal Arts College Nights on Long Island

SEPTEMBER 20 – 22, 2016 in Manhasset, Roslyn, and East Hampton

The eleven Colleges and Universities of the New England Small College Athletic Conference invite you to join us for a panel discussion on college admission followed by a college fair.

These outstanding colleges of the Liberal Arts and Sciences are bound together by membership in an athletic conference but more importantly are eleven of the best colleges in the country. We share a philosophy valuing broad educational experience in the liberal arts; the intellectual skills and abilities developed while engaged in both traditional and interdisciplinary academics; an appreciation of diversity and difference of backgrounds and ideas. Our Alumni/ae go on to careers in every area of industry, government, business, education and non-profit work and gain access to top graduate programs. While we share an educational approach each school offers distinctive programs and features that set it apart from the others.

The program will run from 6:00pm-8:30pm each evening. During the first hour several admission deans will offer insight on the importance of the liberal arts in a rapidly changing world, using the common application to effectively set yourself apart, how to make the most of your college experience, and the new Coalition application, followed by a Q&A session. Immediately after the panel there will be a college fair-style opportunity to meet each representative and learn more about these highly regarded colleges and universities of the Liberal Arts and Sciences.
